NW Leadership Training 2020

The Northwest District is excited to host a leadership training on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM at Cameron UMC, 201 N Pine St., Cameron, MO 64429. It is strongly encouraged that both laity leadership and clergy from all churches attend. The topics for the training will include two in-depth workshops (detailed below) and lunch.
- Leadership 101 Workshop - We will explore what it means to be an effective leader in the church. What it means to keep leaders accountable with expectations and grant the pastor and staff authority to carry out ministry. We will dive into nominations and ways to raise up new and nurture current leaders. Lead By: Rev. Steve Cox and Jai Vaughn
- Growing Your Church Workshop - We will explore and practice new skills; and leave with ideas on developing a space for new people in your church. Along with teaching from the NW Clergy Innovations Team, video teaching segments from Bishop Farr, Roger Ross (Director of Congregational Excellence), and Rev. Tim Schulte, Licensed Local Pastor who has become a master at connecting with new people. Lead by: NW Clergy Innovations Team
